WHO Chief Dr. Tedros Arrives in Sri Lanka for Regional Health Summit

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus arrived in Sri Lanka this morning at 9:40 a.m. from Doha. He was welcomed at the Bandaranaike International Airport by Health Secretary Dr. Anil Jasinghe.

Dr. Ghebreyesus will serve as the chief guest at the 78th South-East Asia Regional Health Summit, organized by the WHO, taking place in Colombo from October 13 to 15. Health Ministers from across the region are expected to attend the event.
