Sri Lanka government has given approval to commence Tuition classes from June 29. Govt Info Dept says that only 100 students are allowed to enter for those Tuition Classes. Tuition classes to commence from June 29.
In March, Tuition masters island-wide have been requested not to conduct classes in keeping with the government’s decision due to COVID19.
This decision was taken as a measure to prevent parents of students from panicking over the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Director of Health, Dr. Anil Jasinghe says that the permission has been granted to resume tuition classes. Maintaining the physical distance of one meter depending on the space available, the maximum number of students able to attend one tuition class is limited to 100.
When there are no facilities for teaching 100 students in the relevant classroom or hall while maintaining health guidelines, a fraction of the number of students normally attending the tuition class is allowed to attend depending on the space available.
Earlier, the Government Information Department said Tuition classes can resume from 15th but changed to 29th later.
