China’s Luhiu Sha claimed the silver medal, while Hong Kong’s Ho Chun Au earned the bronze.
In the Girls’ 1500m race, Sri Lanka’s Nethmi Gimhani also reached the podium, winning the bronze medal with a time of 4 minutes and 52.32 seconds.
