Sri Lankan Parliament to Wear Pink in Support of Global Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Speaker of the Sri Lankan Parliament, Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne, has requested all Members of Parliament to wear pink or pink-shaded attire on Tuesday (Oct. 22) to mark Global Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

According to a statement from the Department of Communication of Parliament, the Women Parliamentarians’ Caucus has also organized the distribution of awareness badges to all MPs at the Members’ Entrance tomorrow.
