Sri Lanka welcomed 132,783 tourists in November, according to new data from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
India remained the largest source market with 31,554 visitors, accounting for 23.8% of total arrivals. Significant numbers of tourists also came from Russia (16,603), Germany (10,196), the United Kingdom (10,099) and France (5,689).
With the latest November figures, Sri Lanka’s total tourist arrivals for 2025 have reached 2,023,470.
Of these, India leads with 454,959 visitors, followed by the UK (184,926), Russia (150,243), Germany (126,481) and China (117,755), the SLTDA reported.
