Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education has extended the application period for the 10th phase of its interest-free student loan scheme until December 15.
The application window, originally scheduled from November 1 to November 30, 2025, was extended in response to the ongoing disaster situation in the country.
According to the Ministry, the decision was made after considering requests from students who sat for the G.C.E. Advanced Level examinations in 2022, 2023, or 2024 as their first or second attempt, as well as candidates who re-sat the exam in 2025.
Eligible students can submit their applications online through the official portal: studentloans.mohe.gov.lk.
