Pathfinder EdTech Institute opens a new Colombo campus to strengthen Sri Lanka’s digital skills and workforce development, with support from Pathfinder Foundation and HCLTech.
Pathfinder EdTech Institute has officially opened its new Colombo campus at No. 34, Sanchi Arachchi Gardens, Colombo 12, marking a major milestone in its efforts to strengthen Sri Lanka’s digital skills and workforce readiness.
The inauguration ceremony was led by former Ambassador and Chairman of the Pathfinder Foundation, Mr. Bernard Goonetilleke, along with Mr. K. Balasundaram, Group Director/CEO of MMBL Pathfinder, and Mr. Dilan Perera, Associate Director at HCLTech.
Joining the event virtually from India, Ms. Srimathi Shivashankar, CVP & Business Head – EdTech Services at HCLTech, commended the initiative and reaffirmed HCLTech’s commitment to enhancing digital skills training and employability opportunities for Sri Lankan youth.
Industry leaders, academic partners, and well-wishers attended the opening, underscoring the growing national focus on structured digital education and talent development. The new campus aims to expand access to high-quality digital learning, helping to build a skilled workforce equipped for the rapidly evolving technology sector.
