Digital Media Movement DMM Sri Lanka Launched to Link Digital Media Professionals and Journalists in Sri Lanka
Digital Media Movement, a platform to link and unite digital media professionals in Sri Lanka was inaugurated after series of discussions and workshops conducted by the Free Media Movement (FMM) in partnership with the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). The inauguration event was held on 15th of December 2021 in Colombo.
Parallel to the launching ceremony, FMM with the collaboration of IFJ conducted a comprehensive union to union workshop themed, “Advocacy and Digital Media Rights” targeting the members of Digital Media Movement.
Upon successful completion of the “Advocacy and Digital Media Rights” Programme, members were issued a certificate jointly signed by the Free Media Movement (FMM) and the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) (IFJ Asia and Pacific).
